In collaboration with Brittany Weeden of Black Rose and Nora Sacks of Archipelago Clubs we were honored to share the music of Mardeleva. Mardeleva is Eduardo Castillo’s live project with two other musicians in which string instruments combine with electronic musings and chanted verse. Many types of sound combine to create fluid melodies. A desire to understand and cultivate connection, love, and self expression fuels the haunting and uplifting sounds of this vastly talented group of musicians. With each experience being a unique improvisation, ours came to a close with the reminder that sometimes the only thing that makes all of this bearable is our connection to each other.

In collaboration with Paul Laurie, Mau Hidalgo and a slew of other talented and passionate artists and creators.
We were an old synagogue. Painstakingly restored and reimagined to be an event space. You might find us hosting intimate concerts with acts like Nahko, a string quartet, or world renowned DJs. We hosted talks on Courageous Vulnerability, cephalopods, and PRIDE. We hosted Invisible Circuses and all night parties. We even had people say “I Do!”
This place was what it was because of the soul that our community and collaborators put into it and for all of you, you know who you are and I am so grateful to you.

Denver International Film Festival Lounge
Feel as if you’ve been transported to another world. A space for festival goers to connect with film makers. A place to grab a drink and exchange ideas. If you’re lucky, the man with the sleight of hand might teach you a magic trick or introduce you to his friend the contortionist.
